Systematic Operations through Digitisation

Clean4U Services emerged three years ago from extensive market research revealing a high demand for professional cleaning services. “‘Clean’ stands for cleanliness, “4” represents all, and “U” signifies customers, Clean4U is dedicated to delivering exceptional cleaning solutions for both residential and commercial spaces,” say Roopashri K, Co-founder & Director and Naveen Kumar, General Manager of Clean4U Services.

“From homes and apartments to commercial spaces and multinational companies, Clean4U has the expertise and equipment to handle any cleaning challenge. Our aim is to offer comprehensive housekeeping services across all sectors, ensuring every space is clean and well-maintained, contributing to overall health and well-being. Our commitment to quality extends to our team, who receive special training and regular guest lectures on corporate mannerism, language, discipline, sensitivity, and punctuality. At Clean4U, cleanliness is not just a service but a mission,” says Roopashri K.

Clean4U provides comprehensive facility management services, including soft services, electromechanical services, and one-time activities like home cleaning. “For home cleaning, we have around 40 people across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Coimbatore. For the contract services, around 600 to 800 people are employed.”

With plans to expand across India in stages, Naveen Kumar says, “Our immediate focus is South India. We plan to cover Mumbai next year, following successful expansions in Chennai and Hyderabad.”

Currently Clean4U extends services to schools, commercial establishments, and government sectors. Especially schools, “we work with group of schools as there is a centralised management”. The services include provision of manpower, machinery, materials, and comprehensive audit reports to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

“Advanced machinery is deployed for tasks like floor scrubbing. Operations are systemic and digitalized, with minimal paperwork and a focus on efficiency. Robotic cleaning was introduced to some clients, the adoption rate is slow due to high costs and the need for open spaces. However, it will gain traction over time,” opines Naveen Kumar.

“Our focus is on end-to-end services, including internal audits and comprehensive training. Clean4U does not just supply manpower; quality is ensured through structured processes and advanced technology,” adds Roopashri K.

“Video training is imparted for effective learning, covering topics including chemical usage, grooming standards, and PPE. We have found this training method to be effective for better retention and understanding,” adds Naveen Kumar.

Customized software is used for on-boarding employees, tracking field officers, managing reports, and handling payroll. This system streamlines processes and enhances efficiency. A range of products from local brands and established ones like Taski are used to ensure high-quality cleaning standards.
