Xylem, a leading global water technology provider, has invested about र 100 crores in water technology in Gujarat by establishing a plant in Vadodara with a capacity of 25,000 pumps per annum.
Talking about the business, Naresh Behl, Director, Operations & Projects, Xylem Water Solutions-India, has said, “We see huge potential for our business in emerging and developed markets and therefore, are looking at increasing production of value added products like packaged solutions, castings for Xylem global markets, solar bore well products and third generation submersible pumps for municipal and waste water applications in the forthcoming year.”
