For a Chemical Free Planet

Cizar Hygiene Care Pvt Ltd is a start-up providing natural bio-enzyme solutions for cleaning, hygiene, and waste management. The company is committed to high-quality natural and organic products. CEO, Devendra Singh, talks to Clean India Journal

At a time when the demand for instant solutions is at its highest, what are the solutions available in the market today?

Cleaning chemicals occupy almost all of the market today; end users select products based on availability, brand recognition, popularity, as well as distribution. Referrals and the cleaning standards set by other companies play a significant role in the decision-making process. It’s an easy decision because the end-users do not have to upset the apple cart and their personnel is used to the existing conventions. But with the recent emphasis on sustainability and ESG, there has also been a growing desire for cost-effective products that can meet the increasing demands.

How different are the solutions offered by Cizar?

Cizar’s cleaning solutions are chemical-free, which is the complete opposite of the science employed by cleaning chemicals. The current technique is based on the cleaning procedures established by Doctor Sinner, who determined that an acidic or alkaline solution would accomplish the necessary cleaning.

But Cizar’s method makes use of unique live active bio-enzymes; these use a process called bioremediation to destroy the microorganisms that cause odours.

ESG standards established by the Indian government are a step in the right direction as the globe, and India in particular, are realizing the necessity of sustainable cleaning solutions. We can assist our clients with numerous ESG standards with our live active enzyme-based cleaning solutions.

What are the driving factors behind Cizar products?

Our vision is to un-chemical the world by using natural, safe solutions that are good for people and the environment. We founded the company with the goal of providing a sustainable solution to the globe, and we are happy that we have been successful in our endeavour. We now want to reach out to more consumers and create awareness about the advantages of our products.

By using less plastic and conserving water, our environmentally friendly and highly efficient products can contribute to the earning of carbon credits.

What are your plans for 2024-25?

We have been testing the products in a variety of industries and have established our solutions. The year 2023–24 was a challenging year for us as we attempted to gain traction in a chemical-dominated business. We are expecting a tenfold growth in 2024–25; so this year will be a turning point for us. While last year was about establishing our credibility across industries, this year will be about expanding our business throughout India.
