The Dry-Cleaners’ & Launderers’ Association of India, following its launch in February at the Laundrex India Expo, has successfully conducted member meetings at Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and recently in Punjab. “We received a warm response and many have come forth to join the association and support the cause,” said Suresh Bhatia – President, DLAI.
Currently, DLAI has close to 200 plus registered member on board and “the list is growing”.
The Association has also signed and sealed a partnership with CINET for certification. “Soon we will be coming out with plan of action on following lines:
(a) For accreditation and certification of Drycleaners
(b) Setting up of Drycleaners School, Technology and Knowledge Centre
(c) Taking members of the fraternity on an International Dry-cleaning & Laundry trip to China
(d) Getting International sponsors and partnership on board of DLAI”
