It provides agricultural, industrial, and public/municipal waste management solutions that are both sustainable and innovative. The co-processing of waste from these sectors ensures energy recovery and material recycling from waste, leaving no residue.

Geoclean aims to achieve a Thermal Substitution Rate of 30% for ACC and Ambuja Cements by 2027, up from the current average of 6%. The goal is to build capacities to manage more than 4.5 million tons of waste during this journey.

As a pioneer in the industry of waste co-processing, Geoclean has set up 14 co-processing facilities and 6 pre-processing facilities across India, equipped with dedicated waste storage areas, feeding arrangements, and state-of-the-art laboratories. New targets are being met through further scaling up of facilities.

Mr. Ajay Kapur, CEO, Cement Business said, “We are committed to building a sustainable future by adopting clean and green technologies in our overall business. We have always believed in environment conservation and are committed to making the optimum contribution towards co-processing waste responsibly for a sustainable future. Adani Cement will continue its endeavours to promote sustainability and build a cleaner and greener planet.”

Geoclean has pioneered solutions that address current and future challenges with a vision of developing a sustainable future for the community and society as a whole. Its initiatives have contributed to the conservation of over 1.7 million tonnes of natural resources and the reduction of over 1.1 million tonnes of CO2.
