CIJConnect Bot-enabled WhatsApp
As part of the Swachhta Pakhwada, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) organized a Swachh Bharat Grand Challenge to reward innovative solutions by DIPP recognized start-ups in the country. Four areas – sanitation, waste management, water & waste water management and air management were selected for the challenge. 165 applications were received from 70 districts in 22 states.
In the air sector, Maclec Technical Project Laboratory stood first and Small Spark Concepts Technologies bagged second. In the sanitation sector, Altersoft Innovations India won first prize and Naturesani stood second. Sanshodhan An E-Waste Exchange and Flycatcher Technologies LLP placed first and second in the waste sector, whereas REVY Environmental Solutions and EF Polymer were awarded first and second in the water sector.
The first prize winners were rewarded with a sum of Rs 2 lakhs and second prize winners were awarded Rs 1 lakh along with a certificate of appreciation.
