In a major initiative of Virtual Info Systems Pvt Ltd (VIS), leading FM companies and FM heads from various sectors have come together to discuss various issues before the Facility Management Industry in India.
A panel has been formed with professionals including Naushad Panjwani, Executive Director, Knight Frank India; Yash Kapila, Head-IFM, West Asia, JLL; Nelli Samuel, National Director-Facilities Management, Knight Frank India; Sunil Nayak, CEO, Sodexo India On-site Service Solutions; Rajesh Pandit, CFM-Senior Executive Director Asset Services, CB Richard Ellis-Asset Services, India; Vinay R Deshmukh, CEO, Forbes Facility Services; Keith Monteiro, VP-Administration (Central), Reliance Industries Ltd; Sushil Sharma, VP-Corporate Services, Reliance Industries Ltd and Manoj Agarwal, Associate VP-Operations, Inorbit Malls India Pvt Ltd.
The first meeting of the panel was held in Mumbai on June 17. The members who could attend the meeting brought to fore the unique and prime issues that need to be addressed and how a show like IFM Expo, seminars and a special publication could bring about the changes. IFM Expo is being organized along side the CIP show from November 10-12, 2011 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

The FM industry has agreed that it’s time to consolidate this industry which is much scattered and in need of a collective approach.
