Lack of proper laundry service software

The rapidly growing laundry and dry-cleaning segment in India is looking at IT-enabled solutions to simplify operations and processes at the service centers. In a recent informal discussion, a few of the service providers in Bangalore stated that there is no comprehensive software that can enable smart processing in India. “In fact, there is not such software available that can be customized to the requirements of the individual service provider. At present, most of us are integrating processes to the existing CRM system which is not very efficient,” said a service provider.

While the app-based and online laundry service providers are using customized software, there is no all-in-one solution for laundry and dry-cleaning service outlets, claim service providers.
