To strengthen its global brand portfolio of professional cleaning equipment, Nilfisk is changing the name of its global brand Nilfisk-ALTO to Nilfisk effective from January 2016. The brand change will strengthen the Nilfisk brand and is part of the company’s drive increase marketing impact and leverage the breadth of its full product portfolio.
The Nilfisk-ALTO blue product line covers pressure washers, floor cleaning equipment, and vacuum cleaners, and from 2016 these products will be branded Nilfisk together with the grey product line that covers a comprehensive range of cleaning solutions for both professionals and consumers.
By doing so, Nilfisk will be able to offer a comprehensive portfolio of cleaning solutions across professional and consumer business under one strong brand. The rebranding will not impact the current product range and Nilfisk’s professional customers will continue to have access to the same products as before. “We are reducing the complexity in our branding to strengthen our marketing presence and increase the visibility of our full product range across businesses,” said Jonas Persson, President & CEO, Nilfisk Group.
Nilfisk recently announced that the company will change its company name and brand from Nilfisk-Advance to Nilfisk. The simplification of the brands supports Nilfisk’s new strategy and enables the continued positioning of Nilfisk as a global market leader. Nilfisk anticipates a smooth transition with no disruption to the business and cooperation with customers.
The product line was named Nilfisk-ALTO as a result of Nilfisk acquiring the Danish company ALTO in 2004.
