Cash logistics firm SIS Prosegur, a JV between Security and Intelligence Services (India), one of the country’s largest private security services providers, and Spain’s Prosegur, the world’s second largest cash management company, has recently acquired the cash management business of ISS for about `150 crore. The acquisition would position SIS Prosegur as India’s second largest cash management operator with a market share of almost 30%. The step will help ISS divest a non-core asset, while continuing to focus on its core business.
In another news, ISS Facility Services in partnership with Barclays have been awarded Gold by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for their commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention at work. “The RoSPA Awards encourage the raising of occupational health and safety standards across the board. Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as ISS in partnership with Barclays, contribute to a collective raising of the bar for other organisations to aspire to” said David Rawlins, Awards Manager, RoSPA.
