Stinking Campuses

Ranchi University (RU) has finally woken up to the stinking reality of poor sanitation facilities across its campuses. After years of neglect, the varsity has decided to upgrade toilets at all colleges. The vice chancellor has instructed the colleges to set up at least two water filters and coolers on the premises. He has also instructed the college authorities to judiciously utilise the funds in building model toilets rather than merely expending the grants. The toilets should have proper tiled walls levelled with plaster of paris, dustbins, tissue papers etc.
