Exhibitors Speak

02

In an e-mail sent post-Show, Varun Karthikeyan, MD-Roots Multiclean Ltd, said: The Clean India Show in Gujarat was indeed a good show for us and to most of the people I spoke to as well. I really feel tier II cities should be more focused in the future and the same strategy should be followed like in Ahmedabad. viz-a-viz tying up with local Industrial Associations to get them to visit the show. We are definitely participating in the Indore show, which I am sure will be a good one as well.”

Paresh Parekh, MD-Sort India Enviro Solutions: “It was a very nice experience. I think the Show went very well. We are happy to be associated with the Clean India team. We met a number of decision makers and got good feedback.”

03George Oommen, MD-Excel International: `“We have introduced three companies to India, in this Show: Kaivac from the US, Soluclean from the UK and Marplast from Italy. While Kaivac displayed some very innovative solutions such as Autovac, Soluclean showcased comprehensive range of pre-dosed concentrated cleaning chemicals. The Show was good, we have received good response.”

Sunil Kapoor, MD-Nilfisk-Advance India Ltd:

“I would like to congratulate the Clean India team to introduce and keep spreading mechanised cleaning through its Shows, seminars and magazines. The 11th edition of Clean India Show was very important for us, b04ecause of two obvious reasons: first, it was a new place and non-metro city and second, Ahmedabad is a leading industrial place in India. True to the words promised, the Show was very exciting for us and we are very happy with the kind of responses we have got.”

Vivek Mata, MD-Charnock Equipments Pvt Ltd: “It appears that moving to the tier II cities like Ahmedabad was a good decision indeed and I am quite positive about Indore too.”

Raja Mukherjee, National Head-Training and Technical Services, Eureka Forbes Ltd: “Response has been very good. We have been participating in the Show since the beginning and would continue to do so.”

Prashant Sule, Managing Director, Cannon Hygiene India Pvt Ltd:  “When we were informed last year that the next Show of Clean India was to be held in Ahmedabad, we had serious apprehensions. It was really difficult to take a decision on participating in this Show. However, having participated in all the past Shows, we decided to go ahead with this show as well. And I can tell you, we have absolutely no regrets for having participated. As a matter of fact, I can’t imagine what we would have lost, if we had not participated. We not only saw a good footfall but also quality crowd. And not just from Ahmedabad but all the industries in Gujarat were represented at the show. We sincerely thank Virtual Info Systems to have given us such a grand Show.”

05 Peter Van Den Boom, Export Area Manager, Comac SPA: “We have a long standing association with Eureka Forbes. It has been over 10 years since I was introduced to the Indian market. I have seen the exponential growth it has undertaken in the past 10 years and we have been receiving incredible response from clients and consumers alike in the Show. I believe that the next five years would be crucial for the Indian cleaning industry, especially for mechanized cleaning, after Prime Minster Modi launched the ‘Swachch Bharat Abhiyan’ and lend his weight behind the industry. The market is bound to grow due to greater demand for mechanized cleaning by the end users.”

Jorg Peter Staehle, Managing Director, Columbus: “The main attraction in participating at the Clean India Show is the booming potential of Indian market. With gradual rise in awareness on the importance of hygiene and sanitation, there is also a growing demand for quality equipment.”

06

Dharmendra, Director, Benaka Engineering Company Pvt Ltd: “We have got some major prospective business leads from the Show; Visitors looking for long term indigenous solutions were keen to know the new launches such as robotic machine and ride-on scrubber drier.”

Joseph Sultan, Director-International Business Solution, Netpak: “Considering the quality of visitors, and size of the Show, it was a very good Show. Good response! The visitors were genuine and serious with keen interest in the products! We look forward to be back again.”

Gagan R. Saigal, Regional Head (West), Western Floor Pvt Ltd: “It is an intelligent decision to organise on a regional basis, rather than limiting to the metro spaces only. This Show is more about awareness and the regional masses are totally unaware of the cleaning developments.”

Hemraj Bhavsar, Business Manager Aadit EHS Solutions Pvt Ltd: “We have been based in Gujarat for the past 15 years and were actually pleasantly surprised by the rush of visitors at our stall. The awareness in the state for cleanliness and hygiene is very low, but on a steady rise. We have been amazed by the number of queries that we have received and have realized that there is a huge ademand for the services we provide that was not being adequately addressed earlier. The gap between the end-users and manufacturers has been narrowed down by the Clean India Shows and now we are able to bring the right solution to the right people.”

Hari Prasad, Director-Vital Marketing: “Such astounding has been the response at the show that I will be required to stay back at Ahmedabad for few weeks to completely follow through all the enquiries received.”
