Food Industry

Dry steam vapour has been effectively used in confectionery industry, transformation, storage andpackaging of foodstuffs, bakeries, pasta factories and shops, dairies, groceries, butchers, meat processing plants, fish markets, chocolate factories and ice cream shops.

While the food industry cleans and sanitizes to eliminate any kind of bacteria and virus, dry steam vapour technology and equipment can also remove grease from walls, sanitize hard to reach places like conveyor belts, tubes and hoses. It is even safe enough for electrical panels and can achieve all of this without the use of chemical using little water. Its applications include:

  • Cleaning and degreasing of workbenches, walls and ceiling
  • Removing food residues
  • Cleaning of batching systems
  • Cleaning and sanitizing of blending tanks
  • Removing grease from control panels and electrical boards
  • Cleaning and maintenance of ventilation ducts
  • Thorough cleaning of conveyors, chains, belts, rollers and packings
  • Sanitizing of refrigeration systems without removing food
  • Cleaning and defrosting refrigeration fins and coils
  • Chemical free killing of listeria in drains and pipes

Winery

Steel surfaces can be cleaned in an optimal way with less effort using steam action. The insides of wine barrels can be reached and cleaned thoroughly. With an appropriate steam jet system, it is possible to efficiently remove each kind of chemical agent residues, bacteria and deposits.

Steam enables sanitizing of each slot covered with microbes or any kind of dirt that can’t be reached and removed. At the end of the treatment, surfaces are completely sanitized with no chemical agent deposits.

In addition to barrel cleaning, a wine factory has other areas and types of equipment that only steam is able to efficiently clean and sanitize, including:

  • Barrique regeneration
  • Removal of deposits
  • Sanitizing of steel tanks
  • Sanitizing of filters
  • Cleaning of glass, sanitary fittings and floors
  • Elimination of mould, bacteria and parasites
  • Leaving a neutral pH on surfaces treated
  • Cleaning of decantation pipes, fittings, machines, polished chromed surfaces

Beverage

Companies specialising in bottling use automated mechanical system. Conveyors tend to collect dirt due to spillages of processed products, residues of lubricants and grease, etc.

Storage tanks and vessels are subject to the built up of deposits and encrustations from the product processed in the plants.

Saturated dry steam reaches every nook and cranny, effectively sanitizing every component of the plants, avoiding the buildup of fungi and moulds. Its applications include:

  • Sanitizing and cleaning of bottling lines and nozzles
  • Polishing of chrome-plated surfaces
  • Machinery cleaning
  • Floor sanitizing

Hospitality

Hotel accommodations, residences, health resorts and all types of small and large tourism facilities have particular needs concerning sanitizing and hygiene. Due to the frequency of check in and check out, as well as room service; the cleaning staff is required to be fast and efficient. They must also reduce risks of chemical disinfectants and detergents and guarantee a fresh, clean atmosphere.

Besides cleaning carpets, textiles, armchairs and the deep cleaning required for return air vents, dry steam vapour can also be used for:

  • Sanitizing of titles and majolica
  • Cleaning of parquet and wood strips
  • Removal of stains and odours from pile carpets, covering and seats
  • Removal of rubber from covering and floors
  • Cleaning of lifts, ventilation ducts, windows, mirrors, parquet
  • Cleaning and disinfection of food processing areas

Catering

In modern catering be it restaurants, catering, pizzerias, fast food joints or cafeterias is obligatory to guarantee safe and healthy food consumption in clean and hygienic premises. Saturated dry steam is versatile for sanitizing premise and equipment. It is ideal for cleaning workbenches, ovens, burners, steel and chrome surfaces in general. Its applications include:

  • Removing grease and deposits from steel, Teflon and titles
  • Cleaning equipment and ventilation ducts
  • Elimination of odors, germs and parasites
  • Deep cleaning of sinks, tanks and all washable walls
  • Cleaning of all kind of machinery dish-washers, braziers, microwave ovens, drinks distributors, ice-cream dispensers and trying tops
  • Cleaning of floors, tops and windows
  • Sanitizing of bins
