Opening the session, Lt Col.PremAnand (Retd), GM, DCCIA Pune, who supported the event, emphasized the importance of generating awareness on cleaning and growing significance of hygiene and sanitation in Industrial sector, “The Factories Act that governs all the industries in the country has laid down standards on cleanliness that are to be provided by an employer. The laws state that in absence of proper cleanliness in a facility, the license of the employer is liable to be cancelled.
“Only mechanised cleaning can provide with consistent and high quality cleaning services. It is the need of the hour for all industries to switch to automated cleaning operations. We are thankful to Clean India Journal for selecting our chambers for imparting such valuable information”
In the Key note speech delivered by Dr. SK Raut, Director-Corporate Health Checkup, Noble Hospital Pvt. Ltd, Pune said, “Cleaning should be made a habit that comes instinctively to everyone so that maintaining a clean and hygienic environment should be done while looking forward to the benefits that comes with it; improved employee morale and satisfaction, increase in productivity and compliance to standards.”
This event is in line with the successful seminars Clean India Journal aims to conduct at Tier II & Tier III cities across the country. Clean India Journal has strived to raise awareness on the cleaning industry and has organized many events to support the cause.
