Unable to cope up with mountains of garbage and the local residents resorting to rallies and protests resulting in the imposition of prohibitory orders by the Karnataka Government, the Mayor of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike has sought help from Urbaser Limited of Spain to redress this problem. Urbaser is processing garbage in a place much smaller than the landfill sites including Mandur and Mavallipura in Bangalore.
