SC Johnson acquires STERIS’s AIC

SC Johnson has announced that it has completed an acquisition with STERIS for its Applied Infection Control (AIC) business. STERIS is a leading provider of infection prevention and surgical procedural products and services, focused primarily on healthcare, pharmaceutical and research and medical device companies.

This acquisition adds a full range of commercial skin care, surface cleaning products and surgical prep brands. The AIC business will be integrated into DebMed, the healthcare division of the Deb Group. The acquisition of the AIC business will allow Deb Group to introduce its full array of hand hygiene and skin care innovation to the U.S. hospitals, building upon the existing AIC dispensing platform.
