Subodh Kumar, earlier the Additional Secretary-Department of Telecommunication in the Central Government, has taken over as the Municipal Commissioner of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. He replaced Swadheen Kshatriya, who has been transferred to the state revenue department as principal secretary. Subodh Kumar had been the additional municipal commissioner (projects) between 1998 and 2001
