Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has provided र 5.94 crore to construct 66 community toilets in Kolkatta. There are offices and banks where hundreds of people come every day but many of them face problem as there are no toilets and the offices do not allow outsiders to use their toilet. Senior civic officials said priority to set up the toilets will be given to the area where slums are located. The toilets will be two-storeyed structures where toilets for women will be on the ground floor and the men’s toilet will be on the first floor. There will be rooms where the users can take a shower.
