Following the success of On-Board Housekeeping Service (OBHS) at Central Railway, the Southern Railway is set to launch OBHS for 26 trains of its Thiruvananthapuram railway division. The service enables railway commuters to get their seat and coach cleaned in real time. Free medical centres and major catering units will also be launched at Thiruvananthapuram Central and other important railway stations falling under the division.
