Full ban or partial ban, if you intend to shop in the BMC markets, you have to carry your own cloth bag. No vendor in municipal markets will be allowed to package goods in plastic bags thinner than 50 microns. The BMC plans to implement the plastic-free Mumbai concept in a phased manner.
