Vadodara, March 7th : A first-of-its-kind Seminar on Industrial Cleaning & Hygiene Solutions successfully organised by Clean India Journal along with the Federation of Small Scale Industries, Vadodara, opened doors to a new market segment seeking mechanized cleaning solutions.
Inaugurating the Seminar, FSSI President Pravin Patel said, “There is need for professional cleaning solutions in most of the industries in Vadodara and we have joined hands with Clean India Journal to organize this seminar for the benefit of over 750 FSSI members and others.”
The overwhelming participation from leading companies from food processing, foundries, manufacturing, chemical, pharma, glass and other industries confirmed the need to organize more such awareness programmes and seminars in the Tier II and III cities of Gujarat.
Highlighting the importance of cleaning in a production facility, Chief Guest Dharmesh Save, Head of Manufacturing, Alstom India, Vadodara, said, “Cleanliness and safety is of prime importance in any facility. At Alstom we practice the principles of 5S religiously and rigorously. We consider 5S as the mantra which leads to improved productivity and improved quality of the product. These principles of 5S have been completely implemented and deeply ingrained in every individual. We are seeing the results now after five years.”
Elaborating on the necessity for mechanized cleaning, Dharmesh said, “It is not the percentage of money being spent initially, we have to count on the result that we reap in the long run.”
Following the response and demand, Clean India Journal will be conducting similar such seminars through the year in various cities across the country.
