Southern Railway Cleanliness drive

Following the inspection of Mohan Raja, ADRM, Chennai Division, directing the station officials to improve cleanliness, the Southern Railway has undertaken a massive cleaning drive. To keep the platforms, concourse area and the circulating area clean, this drive will also strive to create awareness among passengers, educate them not to litter and drive home the point that their cooperation is vital in maintaining cleanliness at railway stations and o¬n board trains.

Mohan also inaugurated a Special Art Exhibition o¬n cleanliness put up by the students of Railway Mixed Higher Secondary School, Perambur. Over 200 students distributed pamphlets and staged a rally at Chennai Central railway station, highlighting important aspects that would help improve cleanliness.
