Sustainable Cleaning Award

UK-based One Complete Solution (OCS) has been awarded the first JohnsonDiversey Sustainable Cleaning Award for its commitment to health, safety and environment through its cleaning programme CleanSmart. The programme, which is process driven uses engineering methodologies and gives better performance in cleaning consistency through better use of resources. The use of microfibre cloth and flat mop enable effective waste elimination and better streamlining of staff. Higher employee esteem, team purpose and competition, together with wage increases created by the CleanSmart system have resulted in improved working conditions, lower staff churn and less absenteeism. OCS has also introduced a dedicated CleanSmart Academy to promote a wider understanding of lean engineering and efficiency.
