One of the first water-based professional fabric cleaning systems to obtain the approval of the ‘Woolmark Company’, Lagoon® from Electrolux Professional will be launched at Texcare 2012 in Frankfurt. It is an integrated system that includes cleaning, drying and finishing functions, using water as a base for an effective result.
Lagoon is suited to all types of fabrics and textiles, even for those garments which are supposed to be dry cleaned. The lagoon system, developed with the assistance of the Hohenstein Institute in Krefeld-Germany, eliminates dirt while taking care of the fabric’s original properties in terms of shape, dimension, colour and handling.
Professional laundries can offer customers a high quality service by wet cleaning even the most delicate fabrics. Unlike dry-cleaning processes, Lagoon eliminates non-greasy dirt which can now be removed by water doing away with the need for harsh and costly chemicals.
