SCA’s low cost hygiene products

Global hygienic paper giant SCA Hygienic Product has been providing safe and hygienic sanitary products to Latin America and Asia. As a part of its marketing strategy, SCA is offering low-cost hygiene products in small packages. Similar projects are being planned for Africa and the Middle East. The range of low-cost hygienic products includes diapers, sanitary napkins and toilet paper. In 2010, SCA started a pilot project selling Nosotras sanitary napkins to women in low-income groups: single packs in Peru and three-packs in Nicaragua. SCA is also selling small individual toilet rolls, sealed in simple paper packaging, targeted at people with low incomes.
