“Zeroflush™ is a patented and proprietary technology of the Indian Institute of Technology. It is a completely non-consumable and non-chemical based mechanical device that solves a typical contradiction wherein the liquid must pass but the gas does not. “Zeroflush™ can be retrofitted to most standard urinals and does not demand a change in the existing pan if they are compatible. The simple mechanism and user-friendly design of the device make it possible to install in less than half an hour.
“Zeroflush™ saves between 100,000 litres to 150,000 of fresh water per urinal pan per annum. In additional to this, it also saves a lot of infrastructure costs like water, maintenance of plumbing accessories for flush/auto flush devices and sewer maintenance costs due to a reduced load on the sewer.
Zeroflush converts a conventional water flushing urinal into a water-less urinal. The parented mechanism allows the urine to flow into drain line preventing the liquid and the gas from entering the rest room and making the urinal water-free and odour free.
