[box type=”shadow” ]Indigenous manufacturer of all kinds of bins and dispensers, KC Green, has come a long way and is now into exports too. Director Naveen Chauhan shares his success story with Clean India Journal[/box]

NaveenWithin a very short period of time, KC Green has established itself as a brand for waste bins in India. “Our main target is to become the most preferred International brand across the world. Our future plans are to produce world class waste bins & washroom products like paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers, hand dryers and automatic aroma / fragrance products. Adhering to the international quality standards, the products will yet be sold at a very affordable price. Besides, focusing on increased production in India, we will look at creating a good distributor network in other countries. We would like to be the most sought-after waste bins company in coming years,” said Naveen Chauhan.

Present Demand

“The demand for our products is huge, especially after Swachh Bharat Abhiyan took off. Now people are demanding waste bins from every part of India. We have Huge range of waste bins, medical sharp waste disposal containers, large wheelie bins, best quality designer stainless steel bins. For hospitals, we have medical waste bins in various sizes and colours with foot pedal. For corporates, we have colour-coded waste segregation bins, for outdoor we have other plastic and steel bins. For washrooms, we have feminine sanitary napkin bins, steel bins and urinal screens. With all kinds of bins and washroom products at one sources, it becomes easy for customer to choose according to their requirements. Nowadays, customers demand waste bins that match their interiors and office aesthetics and something innovative and good looking. We have recently supplied a large quantity of waste bins to Novartis, DLF and HP.

Innovative Products

KC-GreenWe have recently introduced many Made in India products like medical waste bins, colour-coded twin bin, colour coded trio, urinal pee screen, sanitary bins and automatic sanitary bins. All products are doing great in the Indian market as well as overseas and are much appreciated by customers. Shortly, we will be introducing paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers, sharp containers and a very cute feminine hygiene bin with automatic and pedal operated system with an automatic device which updates you when it is going to be full.

“We at KC Green will be launching many products and our factory is working almost 18 hours a day developing new products day after day. Soon you will see the new range of steel pedal bins in best quality which can be compared with any international brand. Being locally manufactured, the price too would be very less compared to international ones. We are also planning to launch automatic fragrance units, feminine hygiene bin – automatic/pedal operated next year at the Amsterdam show. Recently, we have associated with exclusive distributors for our product range in Dubai, Doha and South Africa. We are finalising distributors for Oman, Nepal, Trinidad and Tobago and others.

Target Segments

“We are supplying to corporates, malls, industries, institutions, railways, healthcare, real estates, architects and many more. We are catering to almost every segment because waste bin is a need of everybody. Somewhere we supply directly and some segments are supplied through our distributors.

Challenges & Solutions

“Recently, we received an order for supplying a huge quality of Colour Coded Trio Bins to Hewlett Packard at their Pan India locations. The time frame given was 45-60 days to supply for almost 600 pieces at a very competitive price. Quality had already been approved by the customer. We took up the challenge, put the factory on 24-hour shift duty and supplied before time. We made the quality better than the customers’ expectations and received a very positive feedback from the customer. In recent past, we have faced similar challenges in terms of quality, price and delivery time. We have been able to meet the customer requirement and have won their confidence and appreciation.”
