Hygiene Matters

[box type=”shadow” ]Colin Fogarty, Export Director, Zenith Hygiene Group, speaks to Clean India Journal about Zenith’s recent tie up with Pulizia and its start off approach in the Indian market.[/box]

How do you look at expanding into the Indian market with the Zenith- Pulizia tie up?

Our plan for expansion in the Indian market involves working in partnership with Pulizia to source additional strategic partners who have a successful existing presence within their market and share the same ethos and focus on customer service and product quality. We will work closely through Pulizia with each partner to implement our range of hygiene solutions and services into the Indian market.

What advantages do you foresee with this tie-up?

It is important for us that we work with partners who share the same beliefs in quality and service. Pulizia’s enthusiasm and drive is concurrent with our own business model and strategy. It is encouraging to know that Pulizia have a strong and established network within the Indian market and are determined to work with us to offer an alternative to other international brands.

What are the specific products you are looking to launch in India in Healthcare, Laundry, FM and Hotel segments?

We have extensive experience working within the healthcare, dairy, food processing, laundry and facilities management segments. We will not only be introducing some of our bestselling products tailored specifically for each segment, but also introduce them as a part of a complete hygiene solution as we do in the UK. Each of our concentrated products will be accompanied by our tried and tested dosing systems which are proven to deliver consistency in product quality are effective in driving cost efficiencies.

One specific range is our successful SafeDose system which provides a secure link between the concentrate chemical and the dispensing equipment. This prevents free-pouring, significantly reducing the possibility of user contact, and controls chemical flow when connected to an approved dispenser to ensure accurate dilution to achieve maximum product efficiency.

What is the product range from Zenith now available in the market?

For over two decades, Zenith Hygiene Group has been a trusted supplier of choice to several renowned brands within the hospitality, food service, healthcare, facilities management and food and beverage processing industries. In February 2016, the Group was named as one of the ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ in the third edition of a report released by the London Stock Exchange.

Our Group has three manufacturing plants and an experienced national sales team. We service over 4,000 customers operating in more than 20,000 sites across the UK alone. Our hygiene solutions and products cover all aspects from food hygiene safety, odour control, to specialist tasks such as production line and facility cleaning, slip and trip risk control and washroom solutions.

Our purpose is to create healthy and hygienic environments to work in, live in and eat in, to be the supplier and employer of choice, because hygiene matters.

Looking at the challenging Indian market, how would Zenith meet the specific product specification to suit consumer needs in India?

Part of our entrance into any new market is local country research. This not only equips us with the knowledge to be better informed of the potential challenges, but it also gives us the opportunity to be educated on how we can ensure our offering is suited. Unlike other companies within our industry, being the manufacturer of our own chemical products gives us the flexibility to produce new formulations suited to the segment or market. We have extensive experience working with some of the largest brands in the UK and Europe to develop bespoke cleaning and hygiene products which suit their exact requirements.

What would be your marketing strategy for India and future plans?

We are very much looking forward to introducing Zenith Hygiene Group to India and working closely with Pulizia and other established partners to deliver our core purpose which is to create healthy and hygienic environments to work in, live in and eat in and to be the supplier and employer of choice, because hygiene matters.
