CIJ Seminar on Industrial Cleaning, at Pune: A Report

by Admin
0 comment

Small cities should be focused on for seminars so that a larger number of people are able to avail the benefits of the knowledge dispensed in such sessions. Pune has many industrial and IT companies that require high standards of cleanliness. It is of prime importance that people realize the value of professional cleaning methods and services.

Prashant Sule

Kanna, Senior Manager-Marketing, SealedAir India, on Applications of right cleaning chemicals for industries, with Savio Pinto, Commercial Manager-West, Forbes Facility Service Pvt Ltd, concluding the seminar by speaking on the Need to outsource services for effective results.

Delegates’ Reactions

Some of the important delegates who attended the seminar represented companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Consulting Engineers, Chitale Foods, Jotun India Pvt Ltd, Unicore Autocat India Pvt Ltd, Uni Klinger Limited, NFTDC, Burckhardt Compression Pvt Ltd, Golden Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd.

Speaking on the valuable information given on the topic of washroom hygiene, Soniya Pahuja, Associate Executive Administration from Tata Consultancy Engineers said, “It was enlightening to learn how a dirty washroom was capable of making a whole office sick. It’s something worth pondering over. Being from administration, we make sure that the workplace remains clean and hygienic, so that the employees remain healthy and that in turn increases their input and at the end their productivity. We are now planning on introducing more such products shown at the seminar at our offices soon. To create more awareness on cleanliness, CIJ can have training and seminar sessions in big organisations on the importance of sanitation and hygiene. This will ensure that people who are aware of hygiene standards are not harmed by the practices of those who are ignorant about them.”

In fact, sanitation and hygiene is not about surface cleaning, it is about protecting the health of employees too. These kinds of seminar bring into perspective as to what kind of cleanliness is required in an industrial facility. Hygiene when neglected can have adverse effects on the health of the employees and also the safety standards of a facility.
