Dung To Biogas

The Municipal Corporation of Manesar (MCM) is planning to set up a compressed biogas plant to generate energy from solid waste materials produced in the municipal area through galvanising organic bio-agro resources (Gobar). The biogas plant will not only maintain cleanliness but also help eliminate vector-borne diseases. Organic manure produced will be used in agriculture and gas will be supplied to households. A private firm will be responsible for installing, operating, and managing the plant.
