Protection of Natural Stone Flooring

by Clean India Journal - Editor
0 comment

The term “natural stone” refers to a variety of mountainborn mineral substances that stand in contrast to any synthetic or manufactured stone products. These natural stone floors are among the most beautiful in the world – but only if they are properly serviced and maintained. Stone floor tiles could lose their sparkle over time, and the grout could lead to discolouring.

When such floors are damaged by improper cleaning, the restoration costs can break a facility manager’s budget. The maintenance can get expensive, but the result is worth it. Therefore, it is essential to use a suitable product which will not damage the stone flooring.

The stone crystallization is a method of marble polishing which improves its surface aspect. Crystallization utilizes a special polishing machine and a chemical agent that restores the marble to its original lustre. A portable machine incorporates the polishing compounds on a clean and dry surface.

Crystallization is for indoor use only and finds practical application at all levels. In professional and public buildings, malls, offices, hotels and private homes.

This unique crystallizer has properties which allow us to achieve a durable crystallization polish.

ROSS MARBELLOUS BR 202 is a safe and proven crystallizer used to maintain polished marble, terrazzo and granite. It chemically transforms the stones surface similar to conventional methodology done at the factory. The crystallization action can be equated as a chemical reaction that is initiated through the use of steel wool, special chemical compounds and the basic stone surface. The result is a harder, mirror like, vitrified surface. It allows the floor to continue to “breathe” through microscopic channels of the stone.

It does not require a long drying period following basic cleaning. It is slip-retardant, easy to handle and free from odour.

A unique product with contains a proprietary formulation which creates a reflective crystal surface on marble. This also creates enhanced color and density. This will improve the life of the polished surface creating a more durable marble surface.
