Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will soon launch an information, education, communication (IEC) campaign in the city to spread awareness on solid waste management and urge citizens to do their bit in keeping the city clean. Activities including door-to-door awareness campaigns, public events (clean-up drives) and competitions at public places have been planned as part of this campaign. Mass communication tools like rallies, street plays, skits, hoardings, lectures at schools and colleges will also be a part of the campaign.
