To clean up the La Jolla Cove of bird poop, the San Diego city officials were presented with an innovative method. Blue Eagle Products aims to use bacteria to solve the stinky problem. Blue Eagle Products makes liquids containing microorganisms that metabolize all kinds of pollutants. The plan is to allow microbes to penetrate the guano, and an acrylic coating, which acts as a thickening agent that keeps the microbes in the liquid, before getting to work. The activation ingredient is made from coconut palm trees and the thickening agent is non toxic and biodegradable. And the only by products will be carbon dioxide and water.
