With Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) of Madhya Pradesh for 2013-14 US$ 74.8 billion, counting the past one decade’s GSDP from 2004-05 to 2013-14, the State’s CAGR for GSDP is 16.6% – one of the highest among all the States – a centripetal force for the global investors.
Representing the 8.3% of Indian coal reserves, 144BCM of proven coal-bed methane reserves, largest
reserves of diamond, copper and significant reserves of limestone, manganese and dolomite, the State is
offering a number of fiscal and policy incentives for businesses under the Industrial Promotion Policy,
including single window clearance policy and hence provides a sustainable market potential.
