IHCL takes a lead to eliminate plastic

Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris, Vivanta, Gateway and Ginger Hotels are participating in a plastic removal challenge over a period of two weeks in support of Earth Hour. The hotels would compete with each other in giving up plastic usage through innovative solutions. The most impactful and replicable initiatives will be judged for potential scaling across the company. In addition, 30 of its luxury hotels have replaced plastic wrapped dry amenities in their rooms, such as toothbrush, shaving kit etc. with eco-friendly substitutes.
