Each sachet contains a pre-measured amount of soapnut shell powder that is good for a single laundry wash load. Soapnut shells contain a natural substance called Saponin. When shells absorb water, they release Saponins, which circulate as natural surfactants in laundry water, reducing the surface tension of the water and freeing dirt, oil and grime from laundry.
