Nilfisk acquires Egholm

Effective from January 3, 2011, Nilfisk-Advance will acquire Egholm, manufacturers of high quality and easily maneuverable machines for outdoor market. The acquisition is likely to enhance Nilfisk offering in the outdoor cleaning market, “particularly in segments like municipalities, contract cleaners and larger building societies with a need for high quality, multi-purpose outdoor equipment”, said Jørgen Jensen, President and CEO. Egholm will continue as an independent unit in the Nilfisk-Advance Group under the leadership of current managing director Lars Jørgensen. The acquisition of Egholm is a part of Nilfisk-Advance’s strategy to extend its product range and market coverage, thereby widening its customer offering.
