Southern Railway has invited housekeeping vendors to attend the vendor development conference to announce its tender floating plans. The invitees will include facility management contractors, cleaning contractors, who are involved in manual/mechanised cleaning of railway coaches. The proposed tenders will be floated to cover various coach cleaning activities such as manual/mechanised cleaning of coaches in the pit lines, Onboard Housekeeping Scheme(OBHS), Clean train station scheme (CTS) at different stations spread over Tamilnadu, Kerala and Mangalore region of Karnataka State. The tenders will be floated throughout the year covering all the Coaching depots of Southern Railway.
The Conference will be held on December 12, 2015 at the Southern Railway headquarter.
