Eureka Forbes has been felicitated with the prestigious Asian Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise Award 2012 for Knowledge Management initiatives for the fourth time at the 13th annual World Knowledge Forum held in Seoul, South Korea.
Suresh L Goklaney, Eureka Forbes Executive Vice Chairman, said, “The most satisfying success of our Knowledge Management initiative, EuroShare, has been engaging and empowering people at the grassroots level through knowledge sharing. This is the engine that enables our 8,000 strong ‘Eurochamps’ to contribute more meaningfully.”
Knowledge Management, the unique and successful function by Eureka Forbes was established in year 2001. Eureka Forbes is one of the first Indian consumer goods companies to create a separate, high-level function to manage enterprise knowledge. A separate intranet portal, called EuroShare was launched in August, 2002 to enable employees to unleash and leverage the expertise, knowledge and experiences of colleagues and partners to meet business objectives.
