Plastic-free Tirumala

The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to strictly implement the ban on use of plastic in Tirumala. Even the laddu prasad which are now being supplied in plastic bags will hereafter be supplied in cloth, paper or jute bags. TTD canteens have already stopped using plastic tea cups and water glasses and instead are using paper cups and glasses.
