Special teams have been constituted for achieving total cleanliness in 49 gram panchayats in Dakshina Kannada district. The team consisting of Gram Panchayat Secretary, women and child welfare department supervisor, BRP and CRP of education department and health assistants of health department will make sure that the villagers make use of toilets and that the solid and liquid waste management systems are conceived and executed properly.
