Amitabh Bachchan donates sewer cleaning machines

Indian film actor Amitabh Bachchan donated a large sewer cleaning machine to MCGM and 20 small ones to Aurangabad to end the manual scavanging practices. This follows his commitment at the 2018 Cleanathon toward taking steps in this direction. He also plans to donate a couple more smaller sewer cleaning machines to Mumbai and Pune.

Kam-Avida Enviro Engineers Pvt. Ltd receives an award from the Government of India for an innovative product KamJetGR (jetting, rodding & grabbing) that could prevent workers from entering into sewer line in narrow lanes.
