BSCs for maintenance of Turbine Generator

Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd (GIPCL), a public limited company under the Government of Gujarat, engaged in Electrical Power Generation, is planning to outsource annual maintenance contract of turbine generator and auxiliaries through an open tender.

According to sources at GIPCL, “The scope of work involves preventive maintenance work, break down maintenance, annual shut down work of Turbine Generator and Auxiliaries as per specifications and nomenclature of Schedule of Rates. The job would be outsourced for a period of two years to a competent building service contractor.”

As per the tender document, the contractor should be experienced in products maintenance with at least two years in 110MW and above capacity Turbines on an annual contract basis. The contractor should be competent in complete overhauling and bearings inspection of steam Turbine & Generator of 110MW and above.
