Making ‘Clean India’ the ultimate goal of the country to achieve, the cleaning industry has a decisive role to play in the country’s growth and economy. The Stage is set. With almost all the stalls already booked, the forthcoming Clean India Show in Ahmedabad from November 27 to 29 2014 will witness the progress of cleaning industry in terms of economic, industrial, technological and infrastructure development.

The Show will provide end consumers – manufacturers, malls, hotels, hospitals and municipal Corporations the latest offerings under one roof. A perfect combination of a vast range of exhibitors, spacious venue, state-of-the-art amenities and humungous visitor turnout… the most crucial factor for a Show.

To be held for the first time in Gujarat, the Show has got the full encouragement from the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi saying, “It gives me immense pleasure to know that Clean India team is going to organise its cleaning and hygiene show, Clean India Show in Ahmedabad. I convey my best wishes for the success of the event.” The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Anandiben Patel too has conveyed her best wishes.

The Show has been drawing the attention of various industrial segments — hotels, hospitals, manufacturing industries, ports and government bodies. Almost all the Gujarat industries – Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Vatva Industries Association, Deccan Chamber of Commerce Industries & Agriculture Pune, Rajkot Engineering Association, Vitthal Udyognagar Industries Association, Federation of Gujarat Industries and Federation of Small Scale Industries Association, Ahmedabad Engineering Manufacturers Association, The Gujarat Dyestuff Manufacturers Association and Gujarat State Plastics Manufacturers Association have extended their support to the Show.

The Clean India Show will provide every exhibitor with a bouquet of services to help showcase effectively the company products and services to key audiences, facilitating new relationships with businesses across India. All the leading brands from the cleaning industry have already marked their presence at the Show. More than 32% new exhibitors, both national and international, are participating to penetrate into this new market.

End consumers too have welcomed it wholeheartedly. Says Arvind Kumar, Head Facility & Chief Operating Officer, Alpha Management Services: “I am glad to know that Clean India Show is going to be held in Ahmedabad this year. We would certainly attend it. I will organise a study tour for all my housekeeping managers so that they can come to the show and get to know the latest equipment, accessories and innovations. Attending the seminars will be helpful in knowing how to improve the quality standards in a cost effective manner.”

Pre-Show Report3Many of the end consumer industries have already made their requirement clear. Mahesh Desai, President, Gujarat Dyestuff Manufacturers’ Association says, “The association has been constantly working towards clean and green environment. We have installed effluent treatment plant to meet the pollution control board requirement. However, the dust levels within the plant are high and we are looking at appropriate solutions.”

Speaking to Clean India Journal, President Rakesh Shah, GCCI said that the industry needs to constantly remain sensitive towards environment conservation and pollution control. “In such a scenario, cleaning technologies provide a cost-effective option to ensure sustained growth while minimizing environmental impact and pollution. GCCI is glad to associate with this immensely useful initiative. I encourage all our members to participate in the Clean India Show 2014 and understand the fast developing Cleaning Technology industry.”

Pre-Show Report4New Visitors and Technical Seminars
Being held in Gujarat, the Show is ready to witness visitors from varied segments in the Industrial, Commercial, Institutional and Civic space –Pharma, Textile & Apparels, Agro & Food Processing Industry, Engineering, Automobile, Chemical & Petrochemicals and Gems & Jewellery Industries, Banks, Malls, Multiplexes, Schools, Railways, Metro, Airports, Ports, besides Roads and Public Toilets among others. The Show will also showcase hundreds of new launches.

While the Show has been a launch pad for companies for new offerings, the seminars happening on all the three days are to analyse the technology, development, future prospects, business opportunities and successful case studies in Cleaning & Hygiene Solutions, and also in Facility Management. Experienced speakers having decades of experience will discuss pros and cons of various technologies and would solve the problems being faced by the Industry.
