To encourage rainwater harvesting (RWH) on a large scale Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is planning to award co-operative housing societies which practice water conservation. BMC wants to reach out to residents through innovative campaigns like quirky posters, radio jingles and tie up with popular fast food joints like Café Coffee Day and McDonald’s to popularise this project.
