Karcher machines for Pune Cantonment

The Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) introduced mechanised sweeping as part of its modernisation plans. It has acquired two Karcher ride-on sweepers for cleaning roads. The project has for the first time engaged women force for mechanised cleaning. The machines will run on prime area roads like M.G. Road, East Street and sub area roads. The idea is aimed at maintaining high standards of cleaning and hygiene.

Strapex, distributors of Manmachine for Karcher products in Pune, has given the necessary training to the staff of PCB to use machines effectively and efficiently. The machines were pressed in service from July end. Karcher products have also been introduced at the Pune, Aurangabad, Parbhani and Nanded railway stations. Strapex has bagged an order for the Commonwealth Youth Games to be held in Pune as well.
