Clean Destination

The Tourism Department of Kerala will launch a cleanliness campaign called “Kerala waste free destination initiative” comprising nearly 60 tourist destinations. The campaign will include participation by local bodies, NGOs, volunteers and the players in the Tourism industry. The government granted the Tourism Department administrative sanction, to make Kovalam beach garbage free under KWFD campaign. The programme looks at the comprehensive waste collection and disposal from household level to the community level.
