UK based global service provider OCS Group recently acquired Guernsey-based Meadowcroft Ltd, a third generation family-owned building services provider. The deal will boost the group’s Total Facilities Management (TFM) offering to Channel Islands businesses and property owners. The acquisition will help deliver a “significantly enhanced” service proposition and that further investment is planned in order to further expand the company’s capabilities and to grow its local workforce. The transaction was subject to approval by the Channel Islands Competition and Regulatory Authorities.
“The electrical and mechanical engineering expertise of Meadowcroft complements OCS Group’s soft services proposition of cleaning and washroom hygiene services. Together, the joint capabilities of the new operation offers an unrivalled breadth and depth of facilities services, taking on all aspects of property management and allowing our clients to focus on their own core business,” said Phil Taylor, Managing Director of OCS Group in the Channel Islands.
