Beach Cleaning at Odisha

The Odisha government has directed the Urban Local Bodies of Puri, Gopalpur and Konark to expedite the sanitary and cleanliness drive in their respective sea beaches and keep them neat and clean. The local bodies can hire private agencies for the purpose if they cannot do it themselves. The Chief Secretary B K Patnaik said that a sanitary inspector would be appointed to ensure cleanliness in the beaches.
