The forest department in coordination with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is planning to covert Pirana dumpyard into an eco nature park. A two-feet layer of fertile soil will be filled and plantation will be carried out to turn the area into city’s green lung. To do away with the stench, the forest department will provide wild tulsi plants which will purify the area. Shallow root trees will also be planted. The park will be beautified to be used for morning walks and picnics
